I'm assuming I'll be able to fill in the missing pieces once I get some into the lesson.

Right, so, today will be full of weekend backlog, making appointments, and writing. If I'm very clever or very lucky I'll be able to get out some of Black Ice, some of Triumvirate, and a couple scenes each of the BigBang Mixup things I picked up as pinch hits. And then editing tonight, and Long Road, and bleh. It's not even that I have way too much writing crap to do, it's that I'm trying to pull myself back into some sort of organized fashion and it's not going as fast as I want.

Hm. And I have no idea what outgoing backlog from the weekend is, but it doesn't look like too many issues cropped up in my email over the weekend, so there's that. Packing should also start happening, there was very little of that over the weekend. But I think the solution is going to be start packing up slowly, a couple of boxes a night. I may have said this already. See: brain, scrambled. Like an egg.

Right. For my own organizational purposes: Get to work. Do mail if there is any, clear desk, get sort of organized. Do emails left over. Check outgoing, there isn't much incoming, one each for me and Flutter. Sit down, check publishing schedule, maybe do a scene in BBM/WL and bash the rest of Triumvirate into shape. Check in incoming when it gets there, pack boxes once that's organized. Lunch, German. More packing, more shipping, more work. Finish outlining BBM/CW, email that outline out. Work on a couple supplemental documents for Black Ice. More packing, more emailing, more day job work, stretch out, come home, do guitar, do Japanese. Long Road and edits on BBM/Snakes. Actually, come to think of it, BBM/CW could also take place in that 'verse, in addition to being quasi-Black Ice-history. Something to think about. And Jericho, and bed, and such things.

Tangentially, Tumbler is working out awesomely. I can put up all the little dribs and drabs, people can read and enjoy them, the format seems to work and I figured out the weird bolding problem. Awesome!

Or I could wait till tomorrow to hear back from the bank because today's a bank holiday. Idiot. Right, then! Making fiber kits it is.

I question that word order on a couple of those. Severely.

So, yeah, bank holiday today, I haven't heard anything back on the house so I'm assuming their bank had a holiday today, too. Freaking bank-owned properties. I'm not even sure I'm that stressed about it right now, I'm just tired of it. The mess, the paperwork, all of it. I'm tired of being patient, I'd like to be done with it. Which is sad because if I remember right, this is actually a pretty fast timeline for the whole deal.

Other stuff. As much as I like tumblr it may, in fact, be bad for me, because now I can write endless drabbles that don't go anywhere. And I really, really need to not do that. Outlines, to be done! Well, both outlines done for the BBM, now I just have to finish bashing Triumvirate into shape. Which might not take as long as it seems, given how quickly that outline happened. Damn. Also, I seem to be politically cranky today.

All right, so, I just have going home, doing guitar, making dinner, and then all the writing and all the Jericho ever. I feel like I'm running the Red Queen's race again, and I'm pretty sure I have a good idea why, but that doesn't make me feel any better/easier about my ability to cope with doing all the things I mean to do. That said... mmph. No, I am keeping up fairly well. And it's time for a checkin post anyway, so that'll all go in there.

And so I don't forget, tonight's writing:
1. At least one scene in Long Road
2. At least one supplemental document for Black Ice
3. Finish the frakking Triumvirate outline
4. If there's still processing power left, some BBM drafts.

I need a nap. Or something. I need more hours in the day. But tomorrow will be at least a little easier, I think. Much less outgoing, I need to finish fiber kits but I might even get writing done in the middle of the day that doesn't involve silly tumblr fics.

I feel... a little more confident about my ability to handle all my writing tasks. Less so after having do to some dishes in addition to making dinner and the ten other domestic chores I had tonight, but hopefully that'll change tomorrow. I hope. Or I might end up using the down payment for bail money.

(I kid but, seriously, if I'm going to do all the cooking around here because apparently the boy has forgotten how to make rice, he can fucking well do the dishes. I will be so glad when we move into a place with a goddamn dishwasher.)

Anyway, so, yeah. But I did get some outlining and some writing done, and I feel at least more capable of handling everything that comes my way as far as writing goes. The rest of it, heh. We'll see. I do need to get a little better organized though, so, more writing meditations today, and tomorrow:

1. Snakes That Rattle edits in the morning
2. Black Ice supplementary documents, Triumvirate outline at work. Other BBM scenes as they apply.
3. Long Road and Black Ice: Subversive Mummies in the evening.

And that ought to cover everything.
