No, Jag, dirty laundry goes on the dirty laundry pile, not the clean laundry pile.

Blah, slowly getting back into routines. Stupid damn dentist. And slowly working my way through Beauty and the Beast, now in the mornings, too. Still incredibly crushing on Ron Perlman. Still go to goo whenever he recites just about any bit of poetry or Shakespeare or anything. I just want to curl up in the big fluffy lion man and bask there for days. Seriously.

Oogh. Well, let's see if more writing happens today. Still have at least four things to do, plus day job work. On the plus side, boy has his game tonight which means I have an evening of uninterrupted writing time, is the theory. And maybe stuff will actually get done. It took me about two hours to get into any kind of a groove last night. On the other hand, I still managed to get almost everything except the stupid Shadowrun Kink Bingo done last night. And I got a card for [community profile] mundane_bingo so I can actually get started on some of those. White Collar, and there were at least a couple other fandoms I wanted to do it for that I can't remember now. Not due till January, too. And for those of you who know at least one of the other fandoms, there's one prompt involving kitty litter and another involving your cat bringing you a dead mouse/bird/thing... yeah, go on. Imagine where I'm going to go with that.

(Actually I'm probably going to go straight to Hellboy, but hey. At least with the kitty litter one. There might have to be dead mice in Vincent's future.)

Um. Hmm. Bleh, I had thoughts. I also had a backspace key until just now. Stupid laptop keyboard. Well, the glue sort of worked, but still not sure if I just need to be gentler on it and not turn it all sorts of funny angles or what. Hrrm.

Right. Work, and writing if I don't have much to do, and... other stuff. I do know there's somewhat to pack but I can't remember how much. And of course there's no way of knowing what there is to do until I get there as far as what came in over the night. Blargh. Moving! Time to get moving.

That's all the questions I can come up with off the top of my head. No Japanese today, or rather, it got done but not posted because work was insane and it got done in the last half hour or so of work.

White Collar is up to its usual high standards, which makes... actually about 1 of 1 shows, since even Burn Notice is kind of falling down. Not sure what their problem is but Warehouse 13 has serious pacing issues. But White Collar, apart from one small dialogue hiccup, was right on the money. And damn did they stick the landing.

And now the f-list has made me think about our capabilities, and what we do despite them or because of them or... something. When I started Courtesan School both as a student and as a creator, founder, whatever, it was with a strict idea in mind of what I wanted to do and be. And most of that idea is still intact, a year and a half (HOLY FUCK YEAR AND A HALF?) later, and I'm still working on it. Some of it I'm farther along on and in places I never expected to be, some of it, not so much. Some of it I'm still working on. But I think I stand by the original premise, which is that we are trying to be the best of what we can be, to take our good qualities and enhance them. We recognize our limitations as part of the structure within which we work, and that gives us power, too. Our limitations give us strength, if nothing else than by giving us something to push off of.

So, yes. Those are my thinky thoughts for the night. My less thinky thoughts include: AHAHAHAH SIMON IS RORSCHACH. AND FINALLY MARRIED KAYLEE. And THE SPANIARD IS THE RUSSIAN. And where is Mohinder? All of this makes sense, of course, if you watch Warehouse 13 and Covert Affairs. If not, you're missing out on some serious hilarity.
