In English, the form of the auxiliary verb to be or to do is often used with a form of the main verb. In German, a finite verb is used. In both languages the voice falls at the end of an informational question.

Some common interrogatives are:

Wann -- when
Warum -- why
Was -- what
Was für ein -- what kind of
Welch(-er, -es, -e) -- which
Wer -- who
Wie -- how
Wie viel -- how much
Wie viele -- how manz

Wer bist du? Complete the questions with a suitable interrogative.

Wie heißt du?
Wie ist deine Adresse?
Wie alt bist du?
Was für ein Mensch bist du?
Was machst du gern?
Wann arbeitest du heute?
Wie viel Uhr ist es?
Warum bist du so müde?

Wer bist du?
Warum bist du hier?
Wie viele Sprachen sprichst du?
Wann arbeitest du?
Warum lernst du Deutsch?
Was ist das auf Deutsch?
Wer ist das?

That's all the questions I can come up with off the top of my head. No Japanese today, or rather, it got done but not posted because work was insane and it got done in the last half hour or so of work.

White Collar is up to its usual high standards, which makes... actually about 1 of 1 shows, since even Burn Notice is kind of falling down. Not sure what their problem is but Warehouse 13 has serious pacing issues. But White Collar, apart from one small dialogue hiccup, was right on the money. And damn did they stick the landing.

And now the f-list has made me think about our capabilities, and what we do despite them or because of them or... something. When I started Courtesan School both as a student and as a creator, founder, whatever, it was with a strict idea in mind of what I wanted to do and be. And most of that idea is still intact, a year and a half (HOLY FUCK YEAR AND A HALF?) later, and I'm still working on it. Some of it I'm farther along on and in places I never expected to be, some of it, not so much. Some of it I'm still working on. But I think I stand by the original premise, which is that we are trying to be the best of what we can be, to take our good qualities and enhance them. We recognize our limitations as part of the structure within which we work, and that gives us power, too. Our limitations give us strength, if nothing else than by giving us something to push off of.

So, yes. Those are my thinky thoughts for the night. My less thinky thoughts include: AHAHAHAH SIMON IS RORSCHACH. AND FINALLY MARRIED KAYLEE. And THE SPANIARD IS THE RUSSIAN. And where is Mohinder? All of this makes sense, of course, if you watch Warehouse 13 and Covert Affairs. If not, you're missing out on some serious hilarity.
