Dec. 8th, 2009 10:48 pmUgh. New plan. Do the 'make up these dialogues' after doing the grammar portion of this lesson. Especially since it involves numbers, most likely.
Was born, grew up: Learn to say where you and other people were born and grew up. Note that the masculine past tense form has no л but that the feminine and the plural forms do.
Он родился
Она родилась
Мы/Вы/Они родились
Он вырос
Она выросла
Мы/Вы/Они выросли
Remember that the first and second person singular forms are gender-dependant, and the formal second person always takes the plural.
Как по-русски? How would you ask the following people where they were born and grew up?
1. Your best friend Где ты родилась? Где ты выросла?
2. Your Russian teacher Где вы родились? Где ты выросли?
Ответьте на вопросы.
1. Где вы родились? Я родилась в округе Колумбии
2. Где вы выросли? Я выросла в округе Колумбии
3. Где родились и выросли ваши родители? Братья, сёстры? Моя мать родилась в Шикаго и выросла в Испании и Чили. Мои брат и сестра родились и выросли в округе Колумбии.

Eine ideale Welt! Wie sollen/können/müssen/dürfen/diese Personen und Dinge (nicht) sein? Benutzen Sie logische Modalverben und Adjektive! Sagen sie mindestens zwei Dinge! (I have no idea what these exclamation points are doing here.)
1. mein Freund/meine Freundin - Mein Freund muss seines Geschichten schreiben. Mein Freund soll seines Geschichten bald (finish.)
2. mein Professor/meine Professorin - Ich habe nicht Professor.
3. ich - Ich muss Deutsch und Russe studieren. Ich soll auch Französisch lesen.
4. meine Arbeit – Meine Arbeit soll Garn und Ton haben. Ich muss diese Sachen verschiffen.
5. der Präsident – Der Präsident soll dies Land führen.
6. meine Freizeit – Meine Freizeit ... I have no idea how to make a sentence for this.
7. Mein Auto – Mein Auto soll nicht teuer sein.
Meine Freundes müssen seine Adressen hier schreiben, bitte! :) If I don't have your address, or you think I don't have your address, and you want a card, please to be leaving your address here! First batch of cards will hopefully go out tomorrow, including all the international addresses I have.
