Expressing age – the dative case of pronouns.
The dative case is used to form statements about age. (From what I remember that's not all it's used for, but I'll look that up later.) The person is in dative. Learn the dative case form of the personal pronouns.
How woul d you ask the following people how old they are?
2. A friend's father –
3. Friends who are twins. (Weak, book. Very weak.) –
How would you ask the following questions?
1. How old are you? (informal, singular)
2. How old is she?
3. How old is he?
4. How old are they?
5. How old are you? (plural)
6. Who in this group is how old? (I'm actually kind of thinking that's what the book meant but not the most accurate translation? I could be entirely wrong.)
Right. Did my exercises this morning, almost all of them, too. And getting my walk in. Did some dishes, though I really wish the boy would do them more frequently. Still. Morning chores done. Now let's see if I can scrub some minis before I leave.
