I'm actually almost done with the boy's arm warmers, the first set, anyway. Which is sort of a minor miracle. And also due to being out at the front of the store two evenings running, after about four it seems like there's very little to do except knit. Did run into a girl with a cosplay emergency, though, which amused me to no end. She was cosplaying for that event people keep telling me to go to and I keep ending up with more stuff to do than to go to it. Maybe after the move.
Ugh. I feel like there's very little progress on planks, even though I know I'm lasting longer than I have. But when that lasting longer is measured in seconds rather than minutes, it feels like very little progress. Also, jumping rope in the morning is annoying on my ankles today. It keeps annoying different parts of my body. Also also, this was probably the worst time ever to try and make an exercise push. Female bodies are, once again, the messiest and most ridiculous design on earth. Except possibly for the vulnerabilities of male bodies. Maybe just human bodies are clumsily and ridiculously designed and let it go at that. Argh.
.... And then I just suggested a writing thing to Tanya Freaking Huff, and apparently it worked. Modern technology is fucking amazing, I am literally blinking back momentary tears (literally tears and literally momentary but it was a wacky feeling), and sometimes writers are really awesome, approachable people.
And then Shannon tweeted in response to one of my tweets and yes, Universe, I am taking the hint and going and working on my publishing schedule now. Fucksake. I boggle, I really do.
