kittydesadeThere. Arabic accounting here and here since it didn't get done yesterday on account of movie of mind screw. And at some point I need to go through my iSis and delete all the old pictures of Arabic, since I don't exactly need them anymore. I think my handwriting is getting a little better anyway! And my consistency at recognizing letters. Stupid new alphabets.
And, you know, in my infinite wisdom I picked up two new writing projects over the weekend, as though I didn't have enough to do. Today is going to be all of the packing and all of the writing ever, possibly with an addition of making spaghetti sauce since the boy didn't get very much meet at the grocery store. All of the organizing of the writing and maybe trying to catch up on what I haven't gotten done on my publishing schedule, maybe not. If I was smart I really did make things light this month because I knew I'd be all discombobulated with house crap. Sadly, I don't think I was that smart.
Either way, I think the new writing projects will be drafted pretty quickly. One landed in my head near complete and now I just have to make sure it comes out roughly intact, the other is still in development but slowly unfurling itself like filling a room with pot smoke. I'm not entirely kidding, either. No, this isn't because I watched a trippy movie yesterday, this is just recapturing a bit of my childhood and amusing myself. Hopefully the originator? client? whatever. Likes it.
And, you know. Slowly getting back to normal. The kitchen is getting back to normal after the fridge debacle, I have boxes and things in the house which is not normal but which will cut down on the clutter for a bit as we get ready to do the house thing. I'm vaguely organized about what we need to do next, as far as the data I have goes. One step at a time. I finished my dish cloth! And working on my placemats and hope chest things and so on. One day at a time. First thing to get back in line is definitely the writing stuff, though.
Oh, and I did, finally, get a Tumblr. Yes, it's the same username. It's the same username everywhere. Mostly, it's for random scenes and ficlets and things that have no surrounding actual story, just... ideas. Junk drawer! But it's fun, and it gives me a place to put them so I don't forget them.
