Man. Everything I'm hearing about Once Upon A Time's most recent episode is telling me this is going to suck, hard. Which is kind of amazing for a show that is, overall, really poorly written. I blame Carlyle.
On the other hand, now begins the real chance that we might hear back from the bank. Which means of course that I'm going to be checking my email quasi-obsessively all day. And all night, until OUAT distracts me, hopefully to be followed by Robert Carlyle inna red thong. I also seem to have gone straight back to Leverage again, given half a moment's thought and a rewatch of the most recent season finale. Or whatever it was that triggered my abrupt fascination with poking Quinn in the soft spots.
I really, really want to listen to certain songs on my iSis and I know that if I do that, the whole Rumplestiltskin/Gold thing is going to kick back up again. So I won't. But I want to. And none of this is helping my slowly increasing headache. Yes, I took painkillers.
Irish is actually starting to be easier to read and figure out! Even if, as always, my vocab needs major work. But the exercises are getting better, I can read and translate things pretty smoothly, and while I think I'll go over the last chapter and do some more made-up exercises just to make sure the points are hammered into my head, it seems like things there are going along pretty smoothly too. I love it when languages go smoothly and just settle into patterns in my brain. Om nom tasty patterns.
Right. If this headache ever settles, it seems like it's slow enough that I could get some writing done today as well as work. If. We'll see. Which does not fill me with boundless enthusiasm.

One can hope that Bae won't end up hitting on Belle.WHAT is it with my brain coming up with HORRIBAD developments with this episode?!Aspirin. ASPIRIN. ALL of it for youuuu!

Date: 2012-02-13 03:52 pm (UTC)And why don't I have a Mr. Gold icon yet, argh.I... something. I am glad that we now know he is still capable of his full range of emotions. I am not so happy about the prospects of what's going to happen, and I really, really worry about Belle's handling of him. Also, Sorcerers capable of passion and true love are incredibly dangerous and, and and and. On the other hand, I will really look forward to Regina getting her vittles ripped out with his teeth. I think everyone I know hates her for what she did to him now.
*chews more aspirin, grumps*

Date: 2012-02-13 03:57 pm (UTC)It really really really matters which way the isolation took Belle's mind. I mean, seriously. She can come out of the silence she was at the end and break him into shreds. With a LOOK. Or she can raise him up.
Also, shockingly, he didn't kill anyone. ... unless the rose died, that is. Which is definitely not certain, because possibly Regina was giving it (to a woman) at the end. It looked like that rose, at least.
*coughs*
Oh, and I don't think I hate Regina. I pity her. A little.

Date: 2012-02-13 04:13 pm (UTC)Well... well. *sighs* I'll see once I get my teeth into the episode, where I end up thinking he stands, and what she does and so on. It's hard to get back a Sorcerer's trust once you've rejected them. They hold onto rejection like little else.
Huh! That's... better than what I thought. I fully expected him to leave the guy a bloody beaten pulp on the floor.
She irritates me as much for her blatant stupidity and power-devouring ways. I think I hate her sometimes. Other times I just want to throw her off a cliff and get rid of her.

Date: 2012-02-13 04:20 pm (UTC)He is... definitely holding on to what she gave him, and I'm not sure he thinks of it as her rejection. Mostly because she made it perfectly clear that it was him rejecting her, not the other way around, she was only doing as he wished. Which is a twist that not many manage. (Also the reason why I think she would have tried again, once she calmed down, except, she didn't get a chance... YET.) Ahem. There is hope. (Mostly because she called him a coward and he didn't quite bite her head off. CONSIDERING Rumpel's past... that's something.)
AHEM. Yes. He was about to, but he got stopped. Because Emma sometimes actually does things. Which are apparently moving the plot along. Because she's only trying to be smart. :(
That. Mostly I want her to be put out of her misery.

How can that woman have so... ZERO self-preservation instinct?!
Also, Em deRavin actually carried her weight in the scenes with Rumpel. Now I just want more.

Date: 2012-02-13 04:50 pm (UTC)I think Regina's just so consumed with her own desires that she's now incapable of seeing dangers barreling towards her until they smack her in the face.
And yes. More of her is much desired. She's slated for the Grumpy episode, so yay!

Date: 2012-02-13 05:01 pm (UTC)Hrrm. I still have doubts about her ability to actually handle him, although clearly she comes far and away closest of anyone so far. Or maybe it's just, handle him, help him, the way he needs it. But, heh. That coward part is, um. Promising. Considering his past, yes. Ugh.
Emma DOES THINGS? No, surely not. :P
Put her out of everyone's misery. She's not even fun about it like a really mean Sorceress, she's just brutal and tacky and makes a tragedy out of everyone's lives. At least Gold has some style. Ahem.

Date: 2012-02-13 05:52 pm (UTC)I think the Belle in the story didn't want to handle him, she wanted things to work out, for himself included. She's not trying to handle him but she was definitely reaching to him, and not in the button MASHING way. But, well, child-bride. With Regina's generous nudge. *sighs*
AHAHAH wellll. If Emma was written in all eps the way she was in this one, I'd occasionally be cheering for her. Maybe.
YUP YUP. See, wanting Gold vs. Melisande.
