Он встречал свою (self/his own) невесту(?) и они говорargh I can't come up with any more sentences. On the other hand, at least that's a start.
There. BigBang Mixup draft dates adjusted, I'll try to get a second draft out the day the rough draft is now due. And then the final draft will be the final draft on the new final draft due date and argh. Pushing deadlines up, for me, is the same as pushing them back. Argh argh. Especially since I schedule projects based on freeing up time later on to do other stuff whine whine bitch moan complain.
Okay, I'm just going to leave this here, because right now I'm fairly seethe-y on behalf of a friend and also because it's something I think we lose touch with as we get older/more set in our ways/more experienced at some things/generally crankier. We all started out from somewhere, once. And we would all do well to keep that in mind. And part of that, trying to keep that in mind, is why I make posts like How I Learned To Write Like A Speed Freak and How I Write. So that people can see where I came from and know that, hey, I started from somewhere, and hopefully to be more approachable. I'm an introverted sullen bitch sometimes, but I also like to be approachable. And I remember what it was like to be just fresh out into the world, just starting to show people what I was writing, and get smacked down. I still bear an unnaturally strong grudge against that person.
You don't need to smack people down because they might someday end up better than you are. In fact, you don't need to smack people down at all, for anything less than being an asshole. We all started out from somewhere, we all made stupid mistakes, we all did crap at something some time before we got excellent.
Fuck, if everyone in this world were a little nicer to each other, it'd probably be a much nicer place. I know this seems self-evident but people don't think about shit like this.
Anyway. Right. Speaking of stuff we all started on once and slowly became better at, I have writing to do. And filing, but mostly writing and waiting for UPS to come in and maybe a couple things to ship. But mostly writing.
