There. Heat is fixed, I have aspirin, work isn't too hard, and hopefully my headache will go away. Did see the new Sherlock. I didn't much like the oversexed, over the top Irene Adler and Moriarty is still the most annoying Moriarty on stage or screen, but it did give me a plotbunny of 18-year-old Sherlock spending a week at a brothel for the purposes of examining human sexual behavior. And then promptly concluding that human beings are stupid creatures, sex is distasteful and irrelevant to him. I might even have to write that at some point.

Also at some point I do mean to go back and finish Song of Ice and Fire as it stands to-date. I made it through the first one, but can't get into much of the rest of it. But that should be next on my to-read list, and then probably either the first Thursday Next book or the first Wimsey. Or maybe both at once, who knows.

It's one of those days. My mouse isn't quite working right, I have a screeching headache off and on and the heat didn't get fixed until I was almost out of the apartment. I feel vaguely feverish and I'm fairly sure I know why. And it'll pass, but it's still aggravating. So very low energy. And I got enough sleep last night!

But at least the mecha story will be finally done and go out tonight, and then I can let it sit for a week or two until I'm ready to polish it up, and I need to figure out where I need to send it to the mods and so on. And after that... something. I'm not feeling very with it today.
