Adjectives preceded by an indefinite article or an ein-word have the same endings as those preceded by der-words, except when the ein word itself has no ending.

At this rate I'm starting to think I should just do more exercises at the end of every chapter, rather than at the end of every three.

Robert Carlyle fixation is back at full strength after watching footage from Marilyn Hotchkiss's Ballroom Dancing & Charm School. What's funny is that the first time that came out, I saw previews for it and really wanted to see it because, hey, transformative power of dance! I am all about dancing movies, the transformative power of dance, A Chorus Line, Strictly Ballroom, shit like that. Like you would not believe. So I was all about this movie, and it didn't even occur to me that Robert Carlyle was in it because Robert Carlyle was Begbie. And Begbie wouldn't touch ballroom dancing with a ten foot pole, nor would he go the length of the entire trailer without smashing something into someone else's face. So, clearly this was someone else. And then time passed and I never saw the movie and now I have a fresh new obsession, going over the man's imdb record, oh hey! It's that ballroom dancing movie I wanted to see. Cue up the footage. Cue Jag bouncing around the living room for the next hour. Literally.

Did manage to get a pile of Yuletide and other things done over the weekend, which was nice. Still have at least one Yuletide story to write, and I know what that's about, I just have to sit down and do it. And then [redacted] to see if I've been contradicted anywhere, and maybe see if I get another idea. And then it's just finishing up all those stories I had bunnies for and finding a match to them, checking obsessively for pinch hits, and writing those pinch hits. And finishing the mecha story since that's down to the last few scenes. And then in a day or so, another chapter of J3. And. Things. Stuff. Outlines for editing projects.

Everyone is freaking giving me money for Christmas. Everyone. My grandfather gave me $Kansas, my mother's sending me $RhodeIsland, my in-laws (or as good as) apparently sent me $Chicago. On the other hand it's actually kind of nice because there will be house buying expenses soon, and I don't want to deal with a giant pile of Christmas gifts before we have to pack it all up and move. We'll have Christmas in February or something. Or more likely, since there are some material gifts gotten and given, we'll have half now and half later. Although the giving is easier since other people aren't moving and therefore have an easier time dealing with Piles Of Stuff. Ahem.

I don't want to go to work this week. Wah. I want to stay home and sleep. Or write, stay home and write. Do both. Something. At least there's not much incoming, and if people are smart and have realized that there's not all that much good odds that we'll be able to get them stuff in time, there won't be much outgoing either. And I really can sit and write and file and things. Mostly sit and write and things. We'll see.

Have a couple of writing memes: Tell me about a story I haven't written, and I'll give you between one and three sentences paragraphs from that story. Yes, that old fooking chestnut.

"If I made Cinderella, the audience would immediately be looking for a body in the coach. — Alfred Hitchcock" We did this already but I've posted some and, I think, gained some followers since then -- if I wrote a story, what would you expect to find in it?
