Dinner heated up, haircut not gotten because apparently we're going in the morning. I don't understand the boy sometimes. If it's not done by tomorrow evening, though, I will chop my own damn bangs off in the sink and he can just suffer the consequences. Which are usually minimal, since I know better than to clog the sink with my shearings. Grumble snap.

... I'm looking at my list of stuff to do and surprisingly little of it involves anything more than sitting and staring at the computer screen while I try to push thoughts through my brain. Huh.

I feel I should at least state a position on the OTW thing, and my position is thus: I didn't even know there was a kerfluffle until it started popping up repeatedly on my flist/droll/other places I read. I'm apparently that out of touch with fandom. Also my web presence touches OTW very little, excepting AO3, and that came about mostly through my yearly participation in Yuletide. My general position on people and societal structures on the internet is "take some responsibility, know thyself, educate thyself, and don't be a dickhead." I don't see much of anything in what I know of the kerfluffle to go against that. If at some point I involve myself in OTW/AO3 beyond my annual Yuletide ficspew, I will do my best to educate myself and not be a dickhead.

A friend of mine pointed out that the whole thing is kind of like battling a tentacle monster. Cthulhu needs to go back to his own damn dimension before I make calamari out of him.

Right. Healthy dinner achieved. I may end up subsisting on beans this winter, which will probably be way better for me than last year when it was massive amounts of pasta, potatoes, etc. I just have to remember to keep cooking them.

Oh, and I have some DVDs to sell to anyone who wants them. 5$ for DVDs, $10 for seasons, most of which is probably going to go to shipping, but hey. The list goes as follows (and all are Region 1):
