Erik Schulz studiert an der Universität Zürich. Erzählen Sie auf Deutsch ein bisschen, was er dort macht.

1. Eric Schulz goes to the University of Zurich. Erik Schulz studiert an der Universität Zürich.
2. In the summer he works for his neighbor. Er arbeitet im Sommer für seinen Nachbarin.
3. On the weekend he goes with his girlfriend Karin to the mountains. Er geht am Wochenende mit seiner Freundin Karin an die Bergen. (am Bergen?)
4. They like to hike. Sie gehen wandern gern.
5. Afterwards they are hungry and thirsty. Nachher sie haben Hunger und Durst.
6. Then they go to a café, where they have coffee and cake. (Use trinken and essen) Dann sie gehen im café, wo sie trinken Kaffee und essen Kuchen.


Here's a random question, internets, should I start cross-posting to IJ too? I mean, I haven't used it very much and I rarely look at it, but, well, should I?

Oof. Slowly, slowly setting up the new work computer, but it does have internet right now. Hopefully tomorrow it will have local intranet and then it'll be all set up. Or at least, close enough to being all set up. There's probably going to be a few days while we make sure everything works with everything else, but, yeah, I think it's pretty well done. And now of course everyone's all "Oooh, XP computer" (the number of computers here still running Win98 is frightening) and "Hmm, I wonder how many more they have." Me, I need to figure out who I need to pay. >.> And install an antivirus.

I did far too much cleaning today oh my god. Which is not far too much cleaning except that it involved far too much inhaling of dust. I swear there were dust-oliphaunts that I killed back there, piles of cardboard that had no real use whatsoever, I'm not even done yet. I have no idea when I'm going to finish, but it might even be this week. Not holding my breath, though. Or, well, I am, because there's dust everywhere.

And pretty soon I need to go home and see how bad the boy is, and I'm not looking forward to that. I'm a person who likes being in her bubble, especially when things keep hitting and it's one thing after the other and I'm trying to think of one week I've had lately where something hasn't gone horribly wrong. Even if it's a small thing. I mean, things could be a lot worse, they could be a hell of a lot worse, they always could. But still. Argh.
