Only one today, easing back into it.


It's getting down to a little over two weeks to Dragon*Con. Which means that I a) need to finish my costume (easy enough) and b) am panicking over how fat/ugly/flabby/overweight I look. B is less related to PMSy mood swings and other hormonal factors as you might think, since I do this every year. I think. I'd have to double check but it seems like a safe assumption. And then a couple days before the con I go all "fuckit, you know what? I look damn good." And I'm fine again. Pictures did not get taken last night, I was distracted by the best flash mob ever, but pictures will be taken tonight or I will get thumped for it.

Also, thanks to infiniteviking, Serbian Celtic music. Made of awesome. You're welcome. Now I need to find out where/if they're selling their music and get some.

Oof. Monday. It's a Monday already. Don' wanna. On the other hand, I don't have deadlines breathing down my back anymore! So to speak. Dragon*Con, but I'm on time for that. One more weekend of sewing lightwire to a unitard ought to do it. As long as I don't completely panic. Two more Big Bangs, three if you count the one that's already half done. Actually, two of them are already half done. Actually, yes, I should get my ass moving on that other one. But. And Horror BigBang needs artists. And witchesbigbang/witchesbigbang needs people in general. And that's going on, but none of those deadlines are breathing down my neck, which is the important thing.

That's because there is no original text. The exercise is to answer the questions about the dialogue. :)

Ooh. I'll have to look for that. In stores, I mean. Of course. (tell, not told. didn't tell, didn't see, didn't hear. Past tense for the verb 'to do', present tense for the ... participle. I think. Explaining a native language is hard!)

Ow. Didn't tell. Speaking of Ortodox Celts - I doubt you can find much of their CDs in stores, at least the early ones.
