Aug. 4th, 2011 05:40 pm1. Muss Christine nach der Vorlesung arbeiten? Nein, sie hat Zeit.
2. Welche Idee hat Christine? Sie will in einen typisch bayerischen Biergarten gehen.
3. Was hält Peter davon?
4. Warum möchte Christine zuerst nicht in den Englischen Garten? Weil sind dort immer so viele Touristen.
5. Was sagt Peter dazu? Er lad? sich ein. ... Er, no. Wenn er schon in München ist, möchte er doch in den Englischen Garten gehen.
1. Warum soll Stefan das Wohnzimmer aufrämen? Er soll seine Bücher aufrämen.
2. Wann kömmen die Gäste? In einer Stunde.
3. Was müssen Monika und Stefan noch machen? Sie müssen Staub saugen, Staub wischen, abwaschen, abtrocknen, Wohnzimmer aufräumen.
And then work got insanely busy. Oi.
Tired. Achey. At least I did my German today and the filing got done, woo! That's a pile of crap I don't have to deal with for a while. Oof. Tomorrow, finishing the rest of the straightening and then, hell, when did it get to be Friday already? I know, I seriously know I'm missing out on doing some things here. I haven't had a weekend in, what, almost three weeks now? And my brain is shot. Fortunately, hey, almsot Friday.
I've finally been persuaded to pick up watching Leverage by dint of the fact that one of its characters lodged itself in my friend's head. For those of you who know the terms, think Warrior on the edge of becoming a Blade, thanks to a Sorcerer, and very aware of the fact. It's interesting. And now I'm curious. So, finally, I'm going to watch it. You can all point and laugh at me now.
And now I get to go home and curl up with my guitar. Hopefully my hairpins will come soon, I want to bore holes in some cheap guitar picks and string ribbons through them and hang them from the hairpins. It will be awesome.

Date: 2011-08-05 02:36 pm (UTC)I'll probably start Leverage this weekend. Not sure how long it'll take me to watch it.

Date: 2011-08-05 08:35 am (UTC)Still it would be nice if there was more in the way of variety on television at the moment. I'm not sure what it's like for you but at the moment we're rather lacking in the quality shows department right now.

Date: 2011-08-05 02:34 pm (UTC)I'm trying to think of what I watch right now. I've gone off Burn Notice since it got far too repetitive, though I hear it's getting better again. I watch Eureka and Warehouse 13, and White Collar, though that's going off for its mid-season break. I wanted to watch Alphas, but it's just so damned boring. I love David Strathairn, though. I may have to make an effort for him.
That ... pretty much takes care of all the TV I regularly watch right now. When The Mentalist comes back on I'll watch that, and I'd like to get to watching NCIS again, but I never actually watched last season. Criminal Minds was very good right up until the point when the writing staff, as far as I can tell, completely overturned and suddenly everything that made the show intelligent and full of awesome women went away. And now I refuse to watch it. And the CSIs are just boring now. And almost everything else is reality television, these days, or new, edgy, experimental shows that get cancelled three episodes in.

Date: 2011-08-05 04:39 pm (UTC)I used to watch Warehouse 13 but they stopped playing it. I've heard good things about White Collar but I always seem to miss it.

Date: 2011-08-05 04:48 pm (UTC)Bah, Warehouse 13 is still quite good. They should keep playing it! White Collar is pretty good, still, too. I have a few issues with this season, but they're managing to deal with most of it in such a way that I have at least some faith they'll pull it off, this time, too.

Date: 2011-08-05 04:55 pm (UTC)I'm a sucker for a good sci-fi show.
I'm considering asking my little brother to download the episodes for me or something. He's always raving about it and our tastes more or less align. And then I can watch it whenever I like.

Date: 2011-08-05 05:02 pm (UTC)And I am a shameless Babylon 5 fangirl. Have been ever since it aired, I remember catching it on television. One of my favorite autographs is from the actor who played Londo Mollari, a very... mm. Colorful character on the show. Who was also in the original Tron! He played Crom, there.
I think you should, anyway. It's less scientific, more steampunk-ish science fiction, and with threads of comedy, but it's also pretty well and tightly written even though it doesn't seem like it. Internally consistent, I think.

Date: 2011-08-05 05:17 pm (UTC)Steampunk is a very under-represented genre, especially in film and television. I know that some production somewhere is trying to remedy this. I forget where I heard about it but the project sounds very promising. I think it's called Aether Dancer or something like that. Anyway! I shall poke him about it and see what happens.
