Verbs ending in ieren do not have the prefix ge- in the past participle. They are always weak verbs whose participle ends in -t. These verbs are generally based on words borrowed from French and Latin.
Worüber hat man diskutiert?
1. JORN: Mit wem hat Gerd so lange telefoniert?
KEVIN: Mit Laura. Er hat ihr zum Geburtstag gratuliert.
Verbs with inseparable prefixes do not ad the ge- prefix in the past participle. Some are weak, others are strong. Yay.

Okay. Rant over, I feel better, moving on. Not borrowing trouble or holding onto assumptions because that's bad, Jag. We know this. Even if you have knee-jerk reactions to some things.
Spent a fair chunk of the weekend doing more graphics editing than writing, which I should stop. (I should also email a certain person her mod icon, bad Jag, where is your mind.) But on the other hand, I got my background for my desktop about 2/3 of the way done. So far I've got Quorra, Silk Spectre, and Sweet Pea on there, I need to put Aisha and maybe one other chick, not sure who yet. And then the background and the text of 'fight like a girl' and I will be done! I also started on a buttload of Sucker Punch icons/bases/little 100x100 things, let me know if I should post them or just hoard them for my own use?
Also did some whistle practice! I learned a new tune, noodled on a couple of others, and refreshed my memory on The Butterfly. (The new tune is called O'Keefe's Slide.) And now I have fiddle recordings so I have a vague idea how they go! It's fun practicing the whistle because it's an incredibly portable instrument, very simple to learn if taking some time to master, and very versatile in its way. And did I mention the portable? I'm still working on my whistle bag, though pictures have been taken of it in progress, so there's that. And I've pulled enough leather to make a couple more whistle quivers, really, rather than bags, which is highly entertaining. One of them is black exterior red interior. I don't even know what else I might do with that. Except a gothy whistle quiver.
(Speaking of music, I've just discovered we have a Dinorock sample CD. Uh. Anyone with kids want some sample tunes of Dinosaur musicals geared towards young children? I can take it home and probably find a way to yoink it that doesn't involve iTunes.)
Right. Writing things. I was writing things. Actually, first I was rejiggering my writing schedule. Then I was writing things. And mustering up the courage somewhere in there to look at Underground, which possibly does suck as much as I think it does. Le Sigh.
