Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind
Jun. 2nd, 2004 06:54 pmAnd too many storms make the internet go wonky. Sometimes I hate modern technology.
On the plus side, mailed off two more stories today. One to that place I kept meaning to send more stories to and never did; finally got off my ass and did it. One to Cricket, since it was too adult for the Highlights for Children set and I wasn't sure it was adult enough for the Cicada set.
I need an asprin.
There. Argh. Got little sleep last night despite the sniffles and the cold medicine on account of my bloody cat walking up and down me half the night! Argh! Cat, I love you, but you need to learn to leave me alone when I'm trying to sleep. And then I got up at 9, went walkies, meant to write a couple more stories to mail out later today but fell asleep instead. D'oh. And then had writer's block for the better part of the afternoon. Fortunately I think that has since been confounded by reading Stephen King's On Writing. Stephen King and Neil Gaiman, two people who never fail to inspire. What would I have ever done without them.
Probably had a lot more wacky dream stories, that's what.
