Russian has two verb pairs meaning "to send": посылать/послать and отправлять/отправить. Отправлять/отправить (to send, to dispatch) sounds more official than посылать/послать (to send).

Сколько стоит отправить (послать) сообщение e-mail'ом? How much does it cost to send a message by e-mail?

посылать: посылаю, посылаешь, посылает, посылаем, посылаете, посылают
послать: пошлю, пошлёшь, пошлёт, пошлём, пошлёте, пошлют
отправлять: отправляю, отправляешь, отправляет, отправляем, отправляете, отправяют
отправить: отправлю, отправишь, отправит, отправим, отправите, отправят

The verb used for forwarding e-mail, пересылать/переслать, has the same conjugation as посылать/послать.

These verbs have identical verbal environments: что, кому, куда. The thing that is sent is the direct object (что in the accusative); the person to whom it is sent is the indirect object (кому in the dative); and the place to which it is sent answers the question куда (в or на with the accusative). Ferex: Анна послала сообщение (что) брату (кому) в Москву (куда).

Indicate the type of sending service being used with the instrumental case:
Этот доукмент можно отправить факсом или e-mail'ом. One can send this document by fax or e-mail.
Я хочу послать эту бандероль обычной почтой. I want to send this package by surface mail.

To correspond with someone is переписываться (с кем)
Мы с ним часто переписываемся по электронной почте. He and I often correspond by e-mail.

Me: ... still stuck in my head. Along with the Odin's confession to Loki scene from Thor. Which is probably the most sympathetic Loki's ever going to get in that series. (Which is still pretty damn sympathetic.

Me: He DOES have woobie eyes. Although he glares better than Bruce did before he got age and much more gravitas.

No, seriously, why is Tom Hiddleston so fucking sexy? Referencing Wagner and Peter O'Toole and augh. I want to sit down and have many long conversations with this pretty pretty man. Possibly while snuggled somewhere. Interestingly, or perhaps not given that it's me, I have much less interest in the fact that he supposedly has Mjolnir in his pants. Although that still makes me giggle hysterically.

Long, long conversations. About whatever the hell we end up talking about. This is what I fantasize about, ladies and gentlemen.

Argh. I'm having serious qualms/doubts/fears about being Pamela Barnes this weekend. The usual laundry list of them, too fat (this despite managing to wear two or three pairs of jeans I haven't worn in about six months), too ugly, too unevenly tanned, my t-shirt is a t-shirt and not a muscle shirt, I don't have the right necklace, I'm not wearing white-eye contacts, did I mention too fat? With the flabby arms and the boobaliciousness (okay, that's true and that I can't much help) and on and on and on. This despite that the costume basically involves a t-shirt I had to buy and a necklace. And the rest is stuff I wear normally. It's even a black t-shirt, which I wear a lot of. And sunglasses inside. And that's it. It's not like it's much of a costume. And here I am panicking about it. My brainweasels need to shut the hell up, a lot.

Maybe I need to watch Sucker Punch again or something. You already have all the weapons that you need. In my case, I already have all the strength I will need. It's not cosplay. It's just being badass little me. In Pam's t-shirt.
