Huh. Holy shit. I mean, I know I talk about him being a jerkwad every time I rewatch Bab5 because his character is such a nice guy. And it's true. But damn. I'm not even sure I'm all that surprised, but definitely kind of disappointed. And if he pulls through, I hope it really is the wake-up call he seems to need. Jerkwad or no, that was just a damn unhealthy lifestyle, and even so, no one deserves to die for being a dick and having an addiction. Or two.

Happier news! Dude, where's my sun? Seriously, apparently there are just hundreds of planets wandering around with no discernible orbit (which doesn't mean they don't have one, it just means we can't find it) which about totally defeats the ideas we grew up with in elementary school. The sun is a mass of incandescent gas miasma of incandescent plasma, with planets around.

Oof. Best birthday present ever? Good health. Getting back into my routines, exercise and so on, etc. It's a good day. Or at least, with that one bit of news exception, a good start to the day so far!
