(no subject)
May. 9th, 2011 06:49 pmOhhh, that's right. That's what I was going to blog about earlier. I think I figured out what I want to do for my desktop background. Basically, a picture of (so far) Silk Spectre, Sweet Pea, and Aisha (Zoe Saldana from The Losers) on some suitably explosive background.
Anyway, so. I completely forgot to set up my Japanese review plan, so I'm doing it now instead of actually doing the review 'cause I don't even know what I need to review oops. These will be the first four days of the review, which is to say,
1.
Identifying someone or something, using ha(wa) and desu.
Recognizing the relationship between nouns with no.
Asking for personal information, using question words.
2.
Listing and describing similarities, using to and mo
Asking hai/iie questions, using ~wa and ~desuka.
Using yo and ne
3.
Describing things and people, using adjective + noun.
Referring to places, things, and people using kono, sono, ano, and dono. (Damn that looks wrong in romanji.)
4. Going over whatever of the last three days I missed.
And then somewhere in there I will finish compiling a googledoc of all the review plan/schedule/thingie I intend to follow. We'll see how well this works. I hope it works pretty well.
Write or Die has become my new best friend. I mean, I loved it back when I first learned about its existence but now I'm really enamored. I couldn't even explain to you why playing obnoxious noises at me if I don't type works, but somehow it does. Now what might happen is I might poke VLC and see if I can record some really obnoxious or berating quotes and put those in to play if I slack. Or just lots and lots of Gilbert Gottfried. My god that man has an annoying voice.
Still haven't reached a decision on Office or Dragon yet. Possibly I will continue to dither about this until I get my birthday monies or the sure knowledge that I'm not getting birthday monies, at which point I'll make another decision. Debate debate. The debate rages on.
