Timothy, we're going to play Tennis with Oksana today. Wouldn't you like to come with us?

Thank you, but, to be honest, I play sports very little.

How come? at us [they] consider, where I live [they] consider that Americans loved sport(s).

Yes, how should I put it?/... There are, of course, people who each day do exercise.

So, what's bad about that? They look out for their health/take care of their health [that second one might be more literal].

But still And also each day running, swimming, and jumping. They always are on diet...

And you don't play sports in general at all?

No. Besides, I drink and smoke and I eat badly. So I don't think, you know, that I am a bad person.

What are you saying/talking about!. You, of course, are right. It's all nonsense.

Alice, they tell me that you dance wonderfully.

Truth, when I was little, I dreamed of being a ballerina.

So, and what happened?

I started to study, but it became clear that I was not to become a ballerina.

But they said that you have great talent.

Of course, the main thing, talent. But much more than talent is necessary. It is also necessary to study very hard.

But you, I think/I believe, dance in some kind of ensemble.

Yes, in [an amateur [one], and satisfied [with it]. It is only a hobby of mine, not a profession.

Okay, a little more rushed/distracted than I wanted, but I think it managed.

You know, when I started this whole Parkour in the Park thing I forgot that both ballet and bellydancing are hard on the thighs. Oops. Not that it really looks much like parkour yet, it's mostly about controlling my posture and my balance and jumping up and down on things, but I figure it's better to start there than to try to go pelting through the park jumping over things, trip, and do one of those spectacular faceplants into the grass. Next week I start doing short bursts of running in with the walking now that I've solved the mystery of the shinsplints (the walking ones anyway) and working on my breath and stamina there. The week after that, blending in upper body stuff.

The amazing thing is, though, that I can do 15 minutes of stretches and yoga, 45 minutes of walking and parkour, 30 minutes of dance and then another 5-10 minutes of stretches and I'm mostly fine. I can feel that I've done work, but I'm not dripping sweat (sweaty, but not dripping sweat), I'm not exhausted, I'm not discouraged. I expected a harder learning curve with the parkour, somehow. But this is kind of awesome.

There was something else to say, but right now I'm just going to dash off to work and celebrate my victory over the damn edits. Rarr.
