No more link roundups. I have no cope left, not around a full time job, maintaining my own routines for the sake of my own sanity, writing deadlines, and the increasing amount of bad news from about 1/4 of the states in this country. Michigan jacked up the tax rate for everyone but corporations, whose tax rates were lowered 82%. Go on, consider the implications of that. I'll wait.

I know it's probably a combination of overload, PMS, PMS-related headaches and co-worker induced stress (don't ask) but right now it feels like we'll all end up owing our souls to the company store and the fat cats will keep getting fatter, and nothing anyone can say or do means a damn.

Oof. I have other things to think about. I did go ahead and splurge on Scarecrow and Mrs. King Season 1, as it was almost half price on Amazon this month and it's cheap to begin with, and I could use more Bruce Boxleitner in my life. Somehow discussing this led around to Bruce in a dancer's girdle with a fig leaf sewn on front doing wacky hijinks. Which of course led to the manwhore comment, and that usually makes me feel better. I just have to picture Sheridan saying the same line and it's immediately twice as funny, especially when you picture Delenn making faces at him trying to figure out the specific cultural connotations of "manwhore."

And there will be fic tonight, and some form of decent food, and cornbread, because it's Pi day and pie are round but cornbread r square, and I will sit and write and possibly watch Castle, I forget. And if not I will watch something else. NOT Battlestar Galactica. My nerves cannot take anything remotely resembling a disaster movie, I have a hard enough time watching disaster movies (I don't, anymore) let alone watching them with one real life disaster playing out currently and several other countries recovering from several other disasters. Something silly. Like a cartoon. Maybe muppets.
