"It's punishment."
Apr. 16th, 2004 10:38 pmWell, that was an entirely forgettable action movie. The Punisher, I mean. The plot was not only predictable it was laughable. And... well, let's just say I wasn't entertained. I think it should have been done by any number of different directors. John Woo would have done all right, as would Robert Rodriguez or Luc Besson or maybe even Quentin Tarantino probably not. But... well. I didn't like it.
... I did like the henchman guy in that scene by the bridge where he slapped this other guy around and then proceeded to kiss him sort of tenderly. Put me in mind of another couple. Except no slapping. Um. Yeah. Anyway.
But at least there was good dinner. A bizarre variant on the Oriental salad and hot chocolate chip cookies. And I got some work done. And the more I work on the Arcana and that whole concept the more I realize that most of my Arcana are actually really depressing characters. I really need to work on that. I need some happy characters. Or at least less messed up ones. But then where's the fun in that?
Absolutely no one watched the Punisher with me. Except Emily and himself, and neither of them thought it was very good either. My friends have good taste.
