I seriously feel like I should just get a damn new netbook and if the warranty thing comes through, I'll have two. This is irritating. And trying to focus on doing my practice on the iPod is doubly irritating because it's a small enough screen, I can't see more than maybe two sentences at a time and then don't get to look up and go "wait a second... that's wrong". Which is kind of funny because I didn't realize how often I did that until I couldn't.

Lunar solstice eclipses, as it turns out, only happen once every 375-400 years. 372 years? Something like that. We did, in fact, go out at 3 in the morning (went to sleep, then woke up again) to see the eclipse, which was barely visible for all the cloud cover. Still, it was kind of nice. Observations were had, and I feel... better? Cleansed, empowered, all the things you'd expect of a person of faith. I don't talk much about my faith on here, mostly because it's something I don't think about much in terms of sharing with the rest of the world. I'm not sure why, I just never have. Still, last night was one of those Rare Important Things, and it was good to be able to do that.

(Also, dude, that was supposed to transform me into a sailor moon goddess, and here I am, still slightly out of shape and needing moisturizer. What's up with that? ;) )

It's strangely quiet today. This is good in that I can knit and input Russian vocab into my iSis and do some Yuletide pinch hits and things, but also kind of weird. On the other hand, maybe everyone's just realized that they aren't going to be able to get things shipped to them in time for the holidays, most likely, so they're leaving it alone. I have taken a few orders for people who wanted to come pick up things, which makes more sense. Well, I'm not going to worry about it unless it lasts longer than usual. Which actually considering right after this is post-Christmas slump, might be a while. I also need to do filing. Poop.

My life is incredibly boring, you guys. Seriously. On the other hand, mm. I'm about to start reviewing the last three chapters of my German book, should I start posting... no, yes I probably should. I know you guys all missed my daily German posts. Didn't you? Yes you did. Suffer! ... I think I had a little too much sugar this morning.
