Summary: Martine's life began six years ago, as far as he knows. And it's a good life, with two wonderful women and a job that pays the bills, the only major downsides to his life are his inability to remember anything before the past six years and the migraines and aches that strike without warning. Then things get abruptly worse, with his primary, Alais, exhibiting odd flashes of hateful behavior and mysterious strangers claiming to know him from long ago. But it turns out that it's Joss's sheer stubbornness and faith in the people she loves gives him the strength and the direction to fight to keep the life he's built against both old brothers and old enemies.
