INA: Nein, Kuchen esse ich nicht so gern.
CLAUDIA: Was isst du denn gern?
INA: Eis. Es gebe hier sehr gutes Eis.
LARS: Und zu trinken? Was nehmt ihr beide? Kaffee oder Tee?



Well. I washed my fiber and hung it up (and I seriously need to start dyeing it because I haven't yet) and the bamboo stayed twisted more than I thought it would. I washed my costume and hung it up, and the dye still runs in my leotard, alas. I got the last of the curry and soup out of the big pots and into many smaller containers in the freezer and fridge. And now I have lanolin all over my hands. That was some dirtyass fiber. Still.

German down. Fiction happens now. At least for half an hour or so, and then spinning and sleep. I'm a little annoyed at myself for leaving Desert so long that the first draft turned out so half-assed, but on the plus side I have an editor of awesome and kickass and now I have things I can adapt, change, cut, add, expand on... a whole list of things I can improve by the time I have to post it. And that will happen tomorrow. Because today is for resting.

Seriously, all you writers out there? A good editor is worth his or her weight in gold. When you find one, someone you can work with? Do it. Work with them till you can no longer write, they can no longer edit, or something bizarre happens to blow up the partnership. I cannot stress this enough and there is no substitute for another pair of eyes looking over your work that knows what he or she is doing.
