Well, that makes the first time I've ever seen 'mosque' come up as a basic vocab set for the 'structures in my city' chapter. On a book produced in the United States, too, so it's not a different culture thing, or at least I'm pretty sure it isn't. Strange. But very cool.

Not much to say. It's good to have the one major writing project down, and now I'm working on all original stuff. Desert novel, original stories, and editing Martine and things. I'm also dicking around with Campaign Cartographer, which is absolutely fucking amazing. I love it to pieces. I think I've figured out where Dorothy's home is, and now I have to find the line of villages she travels to, and everything else. And maybe plot out where some other things take place. It's so, so cool.

Tonight, probably going to see Machete and maybe having dinner at Olive Garden with their whole neverending pasta bowl thing. Mmmm pasta. And until then, poking around at work with the first (hopefully) wholly alert day I've had all week. God, I will be so glad to get back to routines next week you have no idea. Really. I love Dragon*Con, but I will be so glad to get back to routines.
