Right. Internet crapped out on me last night, or there would have been more of this. The German part, I mean. Not the Russian, which happens in the morning.

I seriously need to come up with a quicker way to wake up in the morning because as it is, I haven't been waking up fully till about 6.45, and once the storm system currently pissing down our necks goes away I'm going to want to go out rollerblading at 7. This is not compatible with wanting to get stretches done before that happens.

On the plus side, I did get a fair bit of writing done yesterday. Not as much as I meant to, but close to it. I got to bed early since the internet crapped out, I did some reading of Night Watch (more to come), watched Burn Notice and Royal Pains (oh shit Michael what the hell did you do you stupid bastard) and got my second riding skirt cut. The white one, not the brown one. There might be Heralds' Whites at Dragon*Con after all. Which is kind of hilarious since I haven't read those books in, maybe literally, 10-15 years.

I have something vaguely like a writing schedule. Mostly my writing schedule is 'get shit done as fast as possible' right now. And September's coming up, which means I need to prep for Nano. And, good god. Next year, hopefully, I'll have two costumes (three?) for Dragon*Con and won't be doing all this costuming around this time, but I really need to get the damn leotard dyed. See how that goes. If I were really creative I'd get one of those more-spandex/lycra unitards and just paint it up Cheetara-like, like they would do in Cats, and use that under the leotard, but... eh. Maybe later, when I have time and more money. This will do for now. Anyone want to take a stab at a third costume for me for next year, something super-heroiney and spandexy? And then, I think, three or four costumes is probably enough. I can just rotate them out.

Ugh. Work, now. Hopefully with writing involved more than yesterday. And more brain. I would love to have more brain to work with. That said? Even if this week's word count is still way lower than it should be, I anticipate a week of ass-kicking next week.
