Work with a partner. Think of three things that college students in your country typically do on weekends. Ask your classmate if he/she is planning to do them this weekend, and if not, why.

Ａ：　こんしゅうの　しゅうまつに　出かけますか。
Ｂ：　いいえ、出かけません。
Ａ；　どうして　出かけないんですか。
Ｂ：　月曜日にテストがあるんです。

Ａ：　こんしゅうの　しゅうまつに　こうえんに　行きますか。
Ｂ：　いいえ、　行きません。
Ａ：　どうして　行かないんですか。
Ｂ：　たくさん宿題があるんです。

Ａ：　今週の　週末に　プールでおよぎますか。
Ｂ：　いいえ、　プールでおよぎません。
Ａ：　どうして　プールでおよがないんですか。
Ｂ：　アルバイトに行くんです。

Ａ：　今週の　週末に　映画を見ますか。
Ｂ：　いいえ、　映画を見ません。
Ａ：　どうして　見ないんですか。
Ｂ：　両親の家に行くんです。


At some point here I should start practicing my kanji. Maybe in the afternoons after UPS gets here and between emails and packing postal stuff. Reading kanji is one thing but I also need to remember how to write it. Oh Japanese. You are so damn complicated.

Somehow, thankfully, it's been quiet enough that I managed to get most of the filing done. And now there's some work and some orders going through, though not terribly many. Enough to keep me sort of kind of maybe busy for about an hour and a half? The filing's done, though, which means that if I get asked to find the original paper for X order I can actually go through the stack and grab it instead of shuffling five different stacks of paper. I like this.

Writing, somehow, is also coming along on schedule. Or at least, it's starting to. Now that I've gotten that bastard thing posted I can actually feel my brain cells coming back again. Or something's coming back. Or maybe it's just that one story, since I've really only been working on one thing so far. Stuff. Time will tell.

Feeling better, body-image wise so far. Feeling worse because people are upset and my mind automatically leaps to "oh fuck. now what did I do." Feeling kind of chipper and hopeful about the state of writing thus far? Feeling incredibly apathetic towards things I shouldn't be. Feelings, in conclusion, are strange and irritating things. Feh.
