Как по-русски?
1. Is it already October? I didn't know that it's so warm in October here. (Неужели) уже октябрь? Я не знал(а), что здесь так тепло в октябре.
2. Anna loves April, because in April the weather is so nice. Анна любит апрель, потому что погода в апреле так(ая for another nuance) прекрасная.
3. What do you usually do in June, July, and August? Что вы обычно делаете в июне, июле и августе?
Ответьте на вопросы.
1. В каком месяце вы родились? Я родилась в мае.
2. Когда родилась мать? Она родилась в январе.
3. В каком месяце родился отец? Он родился в октябре.
4. У вас есть братья или сёстры? Мой брат родился в марте и моя сестра родилась в феврале.
5. У вас есть дети? Нет.
Oogh. Short bit of Russian today to finish off that grammar point and take it a little easier. On the plus side, I got all my exercises in this morning and managed to make myself drink the protein powder in milk drink, so we'll see how that goes. If it does make me dizzy and sweaty, it's a light day today what with the whole no mail no UPS thing going on.
And hopefully I'll be able to get a bunch of writing done. We're going to be down two people with Flutter taking the day off (which is kind of fair, I got the last mail/ups holiday off) and the person who normally works out front Mondays and Tuesdays being out on some family thing, I think a wedding and seeing some relatives. So there's that, but on the other hand with not much happening in the back, we'll see how much work I actually have to do. Blargh.
Did end up going to the shindig on Friday but not the one yesterday. Friday night was pretty good! I met a couple new people, some of whom hopefully we'll end up going to the TSO Christmas Concert with. There was good food, there was a burd (long story on TV tropes), a couple dogs, burgers, and there was good music and good conversation. And a guy who did some fire dancing with poi and did I mention the fire? People lit off firecrackers, I got to know a couple girls (one of whom is now not!Ty from Clueless and the other of whom is not!Bowler, because that's who they remind me of) and they were pretty cool! And now I'm all "wow. I have girlfriends." Sort of, at least. I think that, barring that work doesn't drain me again, I will actually consent to go to the next girl's night out. It ought to be fun.
Should poke at the writing schedule at some point and adjust it for not really getting much done this weekend. Blargh. I guess I'll do that now, and then get ready and head out.
