David Creegan. Simply the hottest guy on TV right now. And that's above and beyond ... oh, let's see, what shows am I newly watching. SVU. Carnivale is s'posed to start up. But anyway, David Creegan. Oh my god. First of all he's got the sexiest helpless look. He's so intense. His eyes are gorgeous. His lips were made for kissing. He needs a hug all the time. I look at him and think he would be really warm to embrace. He hugs everyone. He does whatever comes into his mind at the moment. Not to say he has no sense of right or wrong, but he has no impulse control whatsoever. It's often endearing. Like when he strips on the plane while chanting "Tiger Tiger." And when he cries because he thinks the kids he was supposed to save are dead. And then he cries again because the guy who kidnapped them shot himself. And then he goes to his kids and curls up between their beds and goes to sleep. He's so adorable.
His partner I'm not so sure about. She seems a standard sort of Scully-to-his-Mulder type, no personality to her yet. The actress is cute, though.
And I kept seeing these actors all over the place that I'd seen in other things. It was highly disconcerting. I think the woman who played the Oracle in Charmed was playing a psychiatrist. Peter Wingfield, of Methos-in-Highlander fame, was playing another agent. And still hasn't managed an American accent. But he's still dead sexy. Second sexiest guy on the show. Um. Vera Farmiga, the chick who plays Creegan's Scully, was on Roar. As the girl, Caitlin. It's like a Who's Who of TV actors from shows that never hit it off. Or maybe just cult hits.
They're doing pretty good with the premise of the show, I think. They haven't tried to give equal screen time to everyone, it really is all about the crazy guy who got shot in the head. And he's actually very lovable for a crazy guy who got shot in the head. And it's interesting to watch him, although they better put some method to his madness really quick or it's just going to get schticky. There was also a guy who was even crazier than he is, who thinks everything is a dream and he's really on Alpha 5, a satellite of Saturn. Go figure.
Anyway, as soon as I can grab some screencaps I am so making Touching Evil icons. Especially using that title phrase. And then I'm writing Creegan fanfic. Because he's just that cute. I love this character. I want him.
Anyway.
It didn't record teh first time around, I'm going to try to get it the second time. And if not it replays Sunday, I think, at 9 am. And dammit, I will get up that early and hit record. Because this show is so worth recording. Guys, if you get the USA network, watch it.
Ahhh it's been so long since I've gotten this obssessed about a TV show. The last one was Carnivale, and I haven't heard anything about its next season. Anyone know if/when that starts up? I hope soon.
