The points of the compass are на words. To provide a context, use either от + the genitive case, or the genitive case alone.

Техас на юге США – Texas is in the south of the USA
Мексика на юге от США – Mexico is south of the USA

Make truthful and grammatically accurate sentences by combining words etc.

I actually have no idea how much of that I got right. Whee.

Okay, people! Apparently the whole idea of a fic prompting writing type thing circle was a success. Now each person ask (some of you have done so already) a question of the person one down from you, and the last one goes back to the top.

1. [livejournal.com profile] cruelest_month "Were-dragons living in various ancient civilizations (based loosely on Earth-based ones) with elemental powers." ([livejournal.com profile] mic_soldier asks: Out of all of those, what is the most normal relationship of the bunch, and why do they count as such in your world?)

2. [livejournal.com profile] mic_soldier "In a world where all humans believe that they are merely a god's dream, what happens when testing the implied lack of limits starts to go very wrong?" ([livejournal.com profile] cruelest_month asks What/Which God do the humans believe in?)

3. [livejournal.com profile] kittydesade "Angels, demons, unplanned nephilim babies, and the jealous lovers who want to kill them."

4. [livejournal.com profile] kikibug13 "A guy raising his husband's daughter and learning about a lot of things again, because of that." ([livejournal.com profile] kittydesade asks: What does he give up without a fight to raise her, and what does he fight for?)

5. [livejournal.com profile] crescent_gaia "Sky pirates that are seeking revenge but end up saving the world." ([livejournal.com profile] kikibug13 asks Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the scariest pirate of them all?)

6. [livejournal.com profile] gusthemoose "In a world were society is divided between magic users and non-magic users, what happens when a non-magic user is appointed to the magic user council?" ([livejournal.com profile] crescent_gaia asks: What happened in order for the non-magic user to be appointed to the magic user council in the first place? Or, in a totally different direction - what does the non-magic user think about their new position?)

7. [livejournal.com profile] booknerdguru "A shattered Keeper has to cross over the boundary to the mundane world in order to save the world." ([livejournal.com profile] gusthemoose asks: What's the crossover like? Does it hurt? Does he become weaker? Stronger?)

We got some of the flatpack bookshelves done, but apparently the boy doesn't trust their stability. Which I think is silly, because they're about as stable as your usual of that kind of bookshelf, which might not be suitable for earthquake territory but once you get the books on them they pretty much stay where you tell them to. Also because maintenance is going to apparently be in and out of here all damn week and I'd really like to get some of this done before they start glaring at us. Idiot maintenance.
