The following is a composition written by Terry Johnson about her daily routine. Read it and answer the questions.

Sorry, guys, if you were curious. Most of that is all kanji I know, so most of that is just plain kanji.

I'm now vacillating wildly between wanting to watch Prison Break for the violent lulz and avoiding it like the plague for the rampant misogyny and casual abuse and, heh, violence. What? There are times when I'm in the mood for gratuitous violence (and, admittedly, I'm more into the gratuitous stylized John Woo violence than the gratuitous gritty kind) and there are times when I'm not. On the one hand, Robert Knepper, who I've cast in a story, and a couple other actors that I like including Robin Tunney. On the other hand, Dominic Purcell, who I just don't like. And lots more of him than Robin Tunney. And this is not the best role for Robert Knepper to look like the guy I cast him as. I kind of want to run RK through that face comparison thing and see if there's a better actor for the look, because the only person I'm coming up with is Matthew Gray Gubler, who is about 20 years too young.

... Come to think of it, David Strathairn might be good. Only I can't picture him with the tattoos. There's something he's missing that Robert Knepper has, or vice versa. Hm. Decisions. Ponder.

Oogh. Still kind of tired, but nowhere near the level of exhausted I usually am. This mail order sale has been so damn anti-climactic. And I'm going to wind up with a bunch of spinach lasagna at the end of the week, which, okay, no I won't. It'll get eaten. By me if no one else, I love that crap, except, that's just the one at home. The one at the store is getting devoured. By mad crazed vegetarian piranha. Also known as my family. Oogh, brain disjointed. Need to pull it back together to edit the damn story and post it. And then do my other writing. And find an ending to the novel. And I was going to throw a poll up here and OH. While I'm thinking about it.

One of the ... okay, a series of essays I'm working on involves writing about touchy subjects in fiction, which includes the isms. Currently the rotation is on sexism, mental disorders, and ablism. I would like to ask the f-list to weigh in on this; are there any sources/articles you recommend which have a good discussion on the subject? How about pet peeves that you see over and over again in fiction that you want to see addressed? Please keep in mind that this is aiming to be a less than 2000 word essay, and yes, I do know about the Bechdel test. But, anything is fair game. Inform me!

Ugh. Writing stuff now. And doing email confirmations, but mostly writing stuff. Oogh. Why am I so damn tired oh wait. I was reading Changes last night. That's why. Damn you, Jim Butcher.

Still need icons for Japanese. Rarr. Yawntired.
