English 'where' means two things: in what place and to what place. German has a word for each form, wo and wohin.

2. Tanja arbeitet beim Bäcker. Wo arbeitet Tanja?
3. Bärbel fährt nach Österreich. Wohin fährt Bärbel?
4. Schmidts wandern in Österreich. Wo wandern Schmidts?
5. Fischers kaufen immer im Supermarkt ein. Wo einkaufen Fischers?
6. Mark geht nach Hause. Wohin geht Mark?
Oof. Sadly, that's all the German I'm up to tonight, but at least I did it. Tonight is probably going to be an early bedtime night. It's been a crazy, crappy day.
