So, my aunt calls today to ask me to pick up something from the store for her and drop it by when I pool home with the Elf Lord, and in passing she mentions that she talked to my Mom, which, yay. And then she mentions that grandpa went in for his cardio checkup and they discovered something they didn't like, so they're going to put him into the hospital for a couple of days and put him on some medications and then, in her words, shock his heart into behaving more efficiently. Or something. I don't have a name for this procedure so I can't google it, but from what I understand your heart can be shocked either into starting up again, accelerating, or stopping. And...
Well, yeah. I've flailed a fair bit about my grandfather on this journal in the past few weeks. This is just another reason to flail, I guess. Still. Fuck.
