Note to self: Just because you write well does not exempt you from the red pen of doom. It is good that you are editing your work. It is even better that you are recognizing just how bad that first draft is. It just as much better that you did not either post or scrap the story just because it is pretty bad and needs edited.

Oi. Come on, brain. Kick into gear. Just because it's crap now doesn't mean it can't be fixed, and you know how to fix it. So fix it. At lunch.
