I wrote this a while back .. a long while back. When I was doing editing work for the boy's brother and one of the boy's friends and a few other people. I'm sure I have something wittier to say about it but my brain isn't working so instead I present to you 8 Simple Rules For Handing Me Something To Edit. Mostly what brought this on is a friend of mine ranting about attempting to be a freelance editor and the headaches it's giving her. Also attempting to resurrect the whole writing instructional essay thing.
She said, when she couldn't quite find her nouns. Lovely. This is going to be a fun day.
I have a to-do list, but I left it in my other pants. On the plus side, updating/revamping the web page is coming along surprisingly well. I've been reviewing just how much damn Covenant fic I wrote. And I kind of want to write more of it now. Which is sad when I have so many works in progress. I already have things to write for today, though, and prompt responses, and other things. So it'll have to wait.
Today's process. Must do push-ups. Must shower. Then eat something since I haven't even had breakfast yet. Then sit down to, simultaneously, writing, coding, and typing up edits. If I can get a fair chunk of things knocked off my itemized to-do list that will be immensely good. Graphics work to be reserved for later in the evening if not tomorrow. So I have written, and it shall be so.
