kittydesadeAll right, that's it. Rather than scatter my brain into a million zillion pieces trying to get the short stories together, edit them, edit my novels too, submit the short stories, wrangle with the demon fucking spawn that is a cover letter, then also wrangle with the query letters when I don't even have a sourcebook or guidebook or anything yet. I'm going to do the following.
a) Edit the damn novels. They've been on the back burners long enough, I'm going to finish Different this month, chapter it up.
b) Work on the novels I meant to work on this month. Although unless I write like a mofo for the next week I think they're pretty much a wash. And then again, isn't writing like a mofo what I do? Aheheheh.
c) Collect material for querying. Instructions, etc.
And then in February I will:
a) Edit Sofia and Thief, since those are the two that got the votes for most saleable after Different. Besides, I just like the Cowboy more. *kicks voice in the back of her head*
b) Write more novels! Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha! Because I am crazy like that!
c) Write a query letter and send out Different. Goddess help me.
And somewhere in there I'll keep writing random short stories, maybe I'll just submit them to contests. That looks easier. But screw this short story submitting stuff. I can't stay organized with that and the novels and job hunting and exercising and keeping up the languages and maintaining some semblance of a social life and painting minis.
Which reminds me, I still have some primed and yet unpainted minis. Which further reminds me, I wonder when the camera software is going to get uploaded to the computer again. Because you people should see some of these. I am inordinately proud.
And now, I flee upstairs to pull out my hair and copious amounts of unnecessary adverbs.
