Russian! The dialogue I didn't get to yesterday.
So far I have installed Firefox and Trillian. I still have to install SpyBot and AVG (what say you, intertubes, leave Norton up till it expires and install both of those on top or no?), LJ Archive, Semagic, Ultra Edit, FTP Commander, iTunes, and then scrub my hard drive. Anything else I should be thinking about installing? (Does anyone remember any other programs I talked about having...)
Okay, I got my exercises done, but not the Russian, on account of... really, on account of installing Trillian a little too soon and spending too much time bouncing. D'oh. And catching up on tags, which is probably what did it. Also, exercises would go a lot faster if my little Michelle kitty didn't insist on using me for a bed or a cheek-rubbing post. Just saying.
I'm brave enough to wear the jeans that were too tight some days, but not every day, certainly. That said, I had a gander in the mirror and was feeling kind of poodgy and bleh until I realized that what was poodgy now was a good day a month and a half ago. Progress, I has it. That and stretches at this point are getting a little too easy, which means it's time to expand them.
I did, at least, get my language bar up there so now I can do the German tonight and the Russian tomorrow morning. Slow going. Faster going once I get home tonight, but still.
Computer needs a name. It may be Soren.
I am nothing if not a damned determined baby courtesan.

Katie, hello! This is my [BAH NO BOOK NO GLOSS. Wait.. no. YES. I HAVE MY BOOK. I have no idea how, but I do. Let's try this agian.]
Katie, hello! This is my daughter [no idea how to write this in english] Julia. And this is my son Sasha. (no c! no c!]
Kiki says: Katie, meet! (get to meet each other, addressed to second person plural... Ah simplified English grammar and how hard it is to explain this form of a single word that means more words >.>) This (is, omitted) my daughter, Yulya (my guess at spelling this as good as yours ;) ). And this is her son Sasha. (I got it, you concentrated on not writing the c, but it's not 'my' son, it's 'her' son.)
... so THAT'S... bah, I should have looked that up. That explains that little bit of a word I couldn't quite understand but extrapolated anyway.
Pleased to meet you, Julia! Hello, Sasha!
Kiki says: Very pleased, Yulya! Hello, Sasha! - yeah.
Where do you live, Katie?
I live in Cleveland. It is a big city in the state oflake-induced stench Ohio.
I understand. Do you have photographs?
Yes, here (are) photographs. This is my house and my car. And here are my mother and father.
Kiki says: Actually, singular. Yes, here (is, omitted, a, omitted) photograph. This is our home and our car.
And who is this?
This is my brother Joe.
And whose is this black cat?
That is my cat Mina
Kiki Says: Again, our cat Mina.
How large she is!
