Mmm. Wicca. Azura Skye as a witch. Cute. They actually didn't do a half-bad job considering that every time organized (and apparently even half-organized because I don't think anyone could call Wicca and organized religion) religion shows up in a strong position on TV it's generally mocked.
Killing spell. Heh. Intent to murder as a directed and measured response to unproven animal abuse. Riiight. Also, what kind of irresponsible dingbat tosses kids into a full-blown ritual? Especially ones that intense? (Alloy'all who know my own history with the Craft, you hush. I wasn't exactly your average thirteen-to-sixteen year old and I was one of three in a group of thirty to three hundred.)
I did find it interesting that Jane was okay with and even encouraged (see: Interrogation scene) Wicca as a religion, it was when she started in on the slinging of spells and the idea of the supernatural that he started doing his ohh hee I'm going to get you and fuck with your head dance. Which, actually, there was more mind-fuckery and actual antagonism between Jane and the witch-hating family than there was between him and the silly bint.
And the witch-hating family was decently realistic. Heh. Stupid ass-heads.
Jane, stop fucking with Cho, he's a good friend to you and he deserves better.
And who else thought it was hilarious that Lisbon's response to it was basically straight face and walk right ahead? Considering what else Robin Tunney's been in...
