At some point, really, I'm going to get back into the swing of RP things. Right after I clean the apartment, finish baking sugar cookies and a cherry cheese pie, try my hand at ginger cookies, finish at least the two fics I have open, do my Yuletide fic #2, and, you know, achieve world peace. On the other hand, since one of those fics is the Prop 8 meme fic which is around here somewhere, honest, I'll probably finish that one first. And then the Mentalist fic. And then I really need to put away the shiny new toy Sorcerer for a while. Honest. What is it with me and Sorcerers don't answer that. Never mind.
I also should probably do comm prompts before people start kicking my ass. Theatrical Muse at the very least, and then Just Muse Me. And I think oh wait. No.Couples Therapy. Or not, since I never got accepted to the comm. *pokes* Okay, that's it, seriously. Prompt resposes, finishing fics, and baking. That's enough goals for today.
Not burning my lunch to a crisp would be nice, too.
And a tidy apartment.
Dammit! I can tidy the apartment tomorrow. Oi. Manic Jag is just a bit manic.
I didn't know Mattel had a children's hospital. Although I suppose that makes sense. The things you learn when you watch a little too much TV. Also, there's something funny about watching car commercials get more and more desperate. And by funny I mean the kind of dark humor you find int Quentin Tarantino movies as one of the protagonists is bleeding out on the floor of someplace really unlikely like a public toilet with a bemused expression on his face. I wonder what is going to happen to the car companies. So far I've been hearing equal bailout and bankruptcy talk. Me, I'll be behind the couch with my jar of nickels.
Right now we're watching something that would actually be very good for science fiction writers to watch, something about what would life would be like on worlds other than Earth, higher or lower gravity, etc. We've just hit low-gravity planets and we have "floating sacs that almost look like inflated lungs with long, long tentacles..." this is kind of disturbing, actually. And now we're going to water worlds and all I can think of is Stargate: Atlantis.
Right. Lunch done. Click dragons, I need to ... either bake or write, one of the... (why is the space program evoking Star Trek music?) Anyway.
