kittydesadeI have. So. Many. Patterns.
Seriously, I just spent $60.00 on storage materials for these patterns. Which basically consists of plastic tubs, manila envelopes (pattenrs quickly outgrow the pattern envelopes they come in) and tape so I can cut up the pattern envelope and tape the requisite information to the manila envelope so I have it. And an envelope that fits the pattern.
I've worked most of my way through the box and, well, first I got four plastic tubs (I already had two), three boxes of envelopes, and four things of tape. Today I went out and got two more tubs, one more box of envelopes, and one more thing of tape. I'm not even convinced this is enough, but it'll do for now.
Yeesh.
So, yeah. Today and tomorrow? Will be a couple of days of ... three things. Two things. Three things. A) Sewing and packing up the patterns and sorting them away, b) Tidying the living room as much as possible, c) catching up on LJ RP and prompts which I have been woefully neglecting for... I don't know how long. I don't even know why, either. I just... eh. Meh. Haven't been. And that needs to stop. Because I kind of miss things. Kind of. I've been ... I don't know. Very apathetic. That needs to stop too.
Three things. If I am sitting down for more than 15 minutes at the computer, poke me and ask me if I'm working on one of those three things while I do. Because (especially with the rp and prompts) it's entirely possible that I am. Just. I need to remember to. I can even do two at once! I just need to make myself do so. Rarr. Maybe that's what it is, maybe it's the lack of anything resembling a holiday in months, and work constantly piling new things on us and new training and new things to do and expansion and ARGH.
But. I have things to sew, and two months (roughly) till Faire season. So that's a bit more cheerful. And OH SO MANY THINGS TO SEW DO I HAVE. Three skirts, five or six bodices (I lost count) (also I just typoed that as 'bodies', hee!), four blouses, two dresses, one cloak, one captain's cloak, whatever the boy wants and buys fabric for, one vest, one poet shirt, and a partridge inna pear tree. Actually if I get all that done I may look for a pattern for a partrige to stick in a pear tree.
Ohhh so much crap do I have to sew. First things' first, I guess. The list of things to finish up, some of which are small, some of which are... not so large. Tally-ho! Excelsior!
EDIT: Okay, what clever soul put the MAGNETIC PINCUSHION on top of the computer monitor which happens to be RIGHT NEXT TO THE TOWER? Oi.
