The Positive:
German textbook arrived! I can now make even more jaws drop at my workplace! An actual German textbook, not the Teach Yourself stuff which I had long ago decided wasn't that good, but, was at a loss to find something to replace it.
BPAL Click 'n' Ship occurred! Samael will soon be mine. Yes. Mua ha ha ha ha.
This week's paycheck will include all that fucking overtime I put in dealing with training and a foreign language line rep who REALLY shouldn't be on the damn foreign language line due to not actually being able to speak a foreign fucking language. Yes. The logic here astounds me.
I am now doing the foreign language line (which consists of checking a voicemail box that's usually empty) on all of my days. Said rep described above is only doing it on the days I have off. Which. No offense to the rep, really, I'm sure she's very good at what she does. But who the fuck thought it would be a good idea to put someone on the language line whose knowledge of a foreign language extends to the two years she took in high school? And she's apparently in her forties (I haven't met her, she works an opposite shift to me, nights.) Just. No. But, yes, the positive! I was focusing on the positive. I'm doing the foreign language line now, dammit. Mine. For me.
I updated all my pups in TM before I got warned. Yay! And am at least somewhat vaguely resembling current there. Next up, RotM. Which is mostly done, I just need to upload the damn things.
There is a Jareth action figure with interchangeable hands, a crystal ball, and a little goblin. WANT. MUST HAVE.
The Negative
Lost one of my Celtic knot earrings today. And since this is one I got at those free silver jewelry places, god knows when it's going to be up again. Grrr. It was a post earring, too! How does that fall out of my ear?
The next vacation day off I get is the 4th of July. After that I get no vacation until... maybe September. Maybe fucking October. What the hell. Grr. Want a vacation.
... on the whole, things are going rather well. Except for the whole agent issue, but. NO. NO excepts, no buts. Things are going well, dammit.
