Dec. 13th, 2005 09:09 amMy first view of BeastMaster is of a blond and somewhat vacant-eyed man chasing a hawk carrying a ferret through the forest. Wearing what looks like a loincloth and boots. I am unimpressed but somehow amused, so it gets to stay on. While I listen to something else. Besides, there's a Narnia special on in half an hour.
It's always nice to wake up at your usual hour and then realize you don't, in fact, have work, and you can roll over and sleep in. I like sleeping in. I did wake up an hour later to get some stuff done, but it was a good hour. And a good feeling.
Yeah, after watching the next bit of the show the ferrets are definitely emasculating. There's something just... it's the same kind of show as Xena, Hercules, that Lost World show, Sinbad. Which I'm ashamed to say I watched. Hee. I wouldn't buy the DVD, but it's kind of funny in an OMGbad! sort of way.
MOO! SERENITY! DVD! DEC 20!
Right. Writing, editing, attacking the outline issue with Pen, and outlining the ... ulp ... romance novel. Let's see if I can adapt that 'Bloody Miles' story to Harlequin format.
... I think that's the problem I have with the idea of writing for Harlequin. Or any romance novel thing, really. So few serieseseses. You have detectives in the mystery genre who go through many books; Philip Marlowe, Mike Hammer, Miss Marple. Moo. Hmm.
