kittydesadeI should have more determination when it comes to selling my short stories. Never mind how hard it may be. I really should. I don't.
NaNo nears its end and I still haven't posted a damn thing to my writing journal. This was a lot easier when the computer on which I wrote and the computer on which I blogged were the same ones. It might even be easier if I had a jump drive, but I don't. Poo.
There was half a hope of getting out of work early today, but no longer. I may go to the local Lenscrafters today anyway and get my eyes checked out, find a pair of glasses. Any suggestions on frames, folks? I need glasses, my vision's getting microscopically worse but I was teetering on the edge of needing glasses to drive anyway, and it's probably best that I do something about it before I next have to get checked up by the DMV. Stupid DMV. I also need to schedule a Dr's appointment. And a dentists', but I know my teeth are going to cost as much as a used car and I ain't hitting the dentists till I've got at least four figures in my bank account. Stupid teeth. Stupid money.
I've been watching too much Kingdom Hospital lately. I really have. I've become more fascinated with Antubis than he probably deserves, but hey. Giant anteater! And other things.
I'm also working on my schedule for writing/submitting for the next little while. Some of you may be able to see my previous schedule, its' further down on this journal. I've got three books I'm going to work on submitting. I should do some short stories as well. I just can't muster up any enthusiasm right now. Probably something to do with being at work and freezing. Anyone got any places I should submit work to?
I'm better than I have been in a long time. Now I'm just.. blah and tired. Lightly blah and tired. In time, this, too, shall pass.
Peter Gemini rocks my socks off, though.
