kittydesadeDemons are invading my brain.
Note to self: Never. Ever. Ever see a movie like The Order after waking up from hellish nightmares played especially for your benefit in THX Dolby Digital surround sound and enhanced color. Really. It's a bad idea. Things that would normally seem a little unnerving are downright scary and characters that normally would seem sinister are absolutely terrifying. And that movie looked kind of creepy to begin with. And me with the two guys on the horse and the bobbing lantern of St. James (and where the hell do I know that reference from, or is it just a recurring image in my head) floating through my mind, the last thing I needed was a movie on some obscure sect of the Catholic church wandering around trying to stop an obscure Catholic warlock from killing people.
And yes, I use the word 'warlock' very deliberately. Go look it up.
Ugh. Oh well. Other than that, the weekend was uneventful. And The Order really was a good movie, I highly recommend it. Just... don't go see it after you've been having nightmares already. Trust me.
Not much else going on... spent the better part of Saturday night watching old tapes of Firefly, and good gods I love that show. I miss it to pieces. Stupid FOX network. Stil on this bizarre Mark Sheppard kick for no reason I can discern. I hope it ends soon.
Had work today, earned money by punching in boring figures into equally boring spreadsheets, go me. Hopefully the week will end up with me having enough for rent and everything. That'd be nice. I like having money, it puts food on my table and a roof over my head. Not necessarily, really, because if I needed to I could always move into some parents' house, either mine or my bf's. But... eh. Would much really rather that I not have to.
That's about all. Except that the idea of Supremacist Dark Chocolate amuses me for some reason (What happens when you squish the 'Moist Supreme brownies' name together is you get a word that, to my sleepy and addled brain, looks like supremacist)...
