kittydesadeAlmost done on my skirts. Have to hem the last one and then add lace and elastic to all three. Tomorrow I'll cut out the bodice, attach the cuffs to the pirate shirt though I don't think the boy is going to wear it to Faire. I need to finish the bodice and then that's about it. Maybe cobble together a wrap from bits and pieces.
This is kind of crazy
I signed up for Nanowrimo. I think I'm going to try to do four novels this year. Easier, with the part-time job thing going on. I'll probably start editing Sophie either in the week or so before, or after Nano. Maybe during, as a little break. Actually, I should work on it during, shouldn't I? Yes.
Not much else going on, really. Work is blah. And boring. And still denying me leave. I may try and take the rest of my paid days off in November at random intervals, which they seem to be more keen on than actually taking half a week all together. Freaks. But if I do that then I can Nano a little better. Moo. And at some point I'll actually submit the damn novel.
I'm not sure what's going on tonight. I'm just kind of bleh. I mean, I've been really productive with the sewing lately. And it's turning out really well. I've been productive with the painting before that, and with the writing. But tonight it's all just kind of sinking. Not so much that I don't feel I'm doing anything worthwhile, I just can't muster the energy. I did go to the store today and pick up a new belt for my sewing machine, so at some point I should replace that. And then, later tonight, after I finish the sewing I should probably organize my writing. But. Meh. I just don't know. Meh in general.
