I think I've resigned myself to not getting any writing done for the rest of the week. Too much sewing to do and faire costumes and things. Fortunately after that I have nothing to do outside of work, so there will be much writing. Just in time for Nanowrimo, too. Gah. I have to figure out what I'm going to write for that. If anything.
Fluffy. I'm looking at you.
In ten days I will have made three skirts, one dress, one bodice, one pirate shirt, one more every day shirt, but no partridges in the pear tree. I have sewn the longest damn seam of my life, and my fingers are now full of pinprick holes.
Actually, though, everything is turning out to look really nice. Today I'll finish the skirts. Tomorrow I'll finish the pirate shirt and do all the hems, cut out the bodice and start piecing that together. I shoudl be able to get some writing done while I do hems, seeing as how the wonders of Dragon Naturally*Speaking mean I can do hands-free writing. And hemming is pretty mindless work anyway, presuming you can detach mouth and mind from the rest of your body.
