Feb. 21st, 2018 10:59 pmWell, I woke up, rolled out of bed, put a face of makeup on. Did not do the best job but whatever, too tired to care whether or not all my sparkles are in place, just that they're there. I don't remember what all I was dreaming last night but it felt very loud and vivid, and I woke up feeling beaten about the brainpan.
People's various medical issues continue to be more interesting than I would like them to be, and we haven't even hit the big event yet. I don't know how to feel about any of this, although we should have mostly a normal day tomorrow and for a chunk of Friday? I think? After that things are going to get complicated. We did eliminate one medical horrible possibility though, which was the main one I was worried about. (Trying not to vomit forth everyone else's medical crap on the internet.)
I did make it to and through capoeira, which was good because we had a new guy. I hope he comes back, he seems pretty enthused and he's had martial arts training before, so he's used to the learning curve. And it'd just be good to have more people around. He's even talking about coming Saturday, which would be very nice.
I feel like I should have something else but mostly I'm just getting through the week, trying to keep track of all the crap I should be doing writing-wise, and ... well, it's after capoeira so I'm going to go pass out. On the plus side, as I recently have been repeatedly reminded, less interesting is better. Way less interesting is way better. It's always better to make your own interesting than to have it dumped on your head.
