Dec. 19th, 2017 04:38 pmToday wasn't as bad as yesterday but I still feel drained and exhausted and wondering how I'll stay awake through The Last Jedi tonight. (Simple: I'll get to the movie theatre, have dinner, and the second the music starts up I'll be wide-a-fucking-wake.) But ugh. Also I'm having weird tooth pain which I can't tell if it's a combination of stress and head cold or if I need to have another couple thousand dollars go into my mouth. Yay.
I got my Patreon post up and my brain decided no that's enough writing for today only paper folding. I need to write. I have Long Road to work up, I have ... a lot of stuff to do. But my brain is exhausted I think from doing all of the logistics for shipping and packing and arranging everyone's orders and argh. I am so goddamn tired and I want to see Last Jedi and I also resent losing one evening to going and having fun and another evening to capoeira after which I will undoubtedly be very tired. Why do we need sleep again? Can't I just write in my sleep.
(I probably could if I really wanted to, to an extent, but then I would have to get up and type it all up and that's the time I can't find.)
Well. I have two three day weekends coming up which will help, I've figured out how best to start fixing The Fae after tomorrow, which will help. I need to retool my immediate writing schedule over the next week and make a mental list of the projects I'm working on. Long Road is in re-drafting, then organizing, then edits and drafting the interludes, so that's fine. Malachy is in edits. Lots of short stories are in edits. Fae After Tomorrow is the only one I'm drafting, and then background on Starlight so, okay. No, that's not actually as many projects as I expected. Breathe, self. It's going to be okay.
